10. The Aletheia App

This section applies when you create an account and use the Aletheia app.

Your account. When you sign up, we collect your name, your email address and the company or workspace name you enter. Sign-in is handled for us by Clerk, which stores your sign-in details. When you connect your Google account, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them to set up your account, show who is signed in and send you messages about your account.

Your files and event details. You can upload files, connect files from Google Drive, and enter event details such as budgets, dates and vendors. We use them to build what you ask for: budgets, timelines, contract deadlines and playbooks. Please leave personal details about attendees and speakers, such as birthdays, ID numbers or health information, out of the files you add.

Google Drive. When you connect Google Drive, Aletheia can open only the files you pick in Google’s file picker, and files it saves to your Drive for you. We can’t see the rest of your Drive. Aletheia makes its own copy of the files you pick so it can read them, and checks them for changes in the background so your results stay current. We use these files only to provide the features you see in the app. We don’t sell them and we don’t use them for advertising. Our team doesn’t read your files unless you ask us for help and agree to it, we need to fix a bug or investigate abuse, or the law requires it.

You can remove Aletheia’s access at any time in your Google Account settings. That stops Aletheia from reading or syncing your Drive files. It doesn’t delete the copies we already hold. Email us to have those deleted.

AI processing. To build your results, we send the content of your files, including files you pick from Google Drive, to these services: Anthropic and OpenAI (AI models), OpenRouter (routes requests to AI models), Zep (stores what Aletheia remembers about your events) and Gamma (builds and hosts your slide decks).

How long we keep it. We keep your account, files and event details while your account is open. To have your account and its data deleted, email events@aletheia.events. We’ll delete your account, your uploaded files, our copies of your Google Drive files and your event details from our systems. Files Aletheia saved to your Google Drive, and tasks it created in Asana or Microsoft Planner, stay there until you delete them. Copies in backups and in the services listed above can take longer to clear.

Who we share it with. We share your data with companies that help us run the app, including our cloud hosting and storage providers, Clerk for sign-in, and the services listed above. If you connect Asana or Microsoft Planner, Aletheia creates, updates and deletes tasks there for you. We may also share data when the law requires it. We don’t sell your data.

11. Children

Aletheia is for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
